S u s t a i n a b l e G a r d e n i n g w i t h O l d G a r d e n R o s e s We warmly invite you to the 5th Annual Wyck Old Rose Symposium: “Sustainable Gardening with Old Garden Roses,” presented in partnership with The Heritage Rose Foundation. Our program will begin in the morning with fascinating talks and an interactive discussion with our expert rose panel, followed by lunch and an afternoon of signature workshops. There will be opportunities to explore the historic house and landscape, as well as to purchase rare Wyck roses for your own garden! The day will conclude amidst the roses with champagne and cheesecake.

I n t e r a c t i v e R o s e P a n e l What is "sustainability" when used in reference to roses? The word has become part of our everyday language. We are increasingly aware of the importance of sustainable living to future generations. And so we ask: are we growing roses in a truly sustainable fashion? Our panel of garden experts will explain their views on sustainable roses and the varied techniques for growing roses responsibly. There will be plenty of opportunity for the audience to participate in what promises to be an inspiring discussion. Panelists: Stephen Scanniello, Moderator, Sarah Owens, Kevin Glaes, Peggy Martin, and Pam Smith.
