Wyck is a special place where history intersects -- and influences -- contemporary life and feeds curiosity about the world. We recognize the unique opportunities that we have with our verdant, largely unaltered 2.5-acre site nestled within an urban community. Utilizing our site's land, history, and collections, we offer reasonably priced public programs and free community festivals with an emphasis on local history, horticulture, urban agriculture, and family.
Our 2011 campers and parents said...
“I liked the free-play and educational aspects of the program. The environment was beautiful and perfect for children.”
“The kids were learning while having fun, the people were lovely.”
“Fantastic! We would totally do it again!”
“It was terrific – a local treasure!”
“We can’t wait to be back again next year!”
